The MakerLab

The JAD MakerLab is a workshop for production, experimentation, and learning dedicated to making. Open to JAD residents, creative professionals, and the general public, it offers a work environment conducive to exploring and developing projects.

Designed as a hybrid workshop, the MakerLab combines traditional equipment with digital fabrication tools. The space encourages the blending of techniques, experimental approaches, and the sharing of expertise.

A space for creating and learning

The MakerLab offers:

  • introductions to the machines
  • group practice sessions
  • access to facilities by reservation

Anyone can come here to explore, learn, test ideas, build prototypes, or create objects.
